Process
I interviewed first year UNC student, Sara Tovar, about her journey from Colombia to New York and now to UNC. I focused on asking questions about how adjusting to new environments has shaped her perspective.
From First to Final Year at Carolina
Coming into college, a lot of students worry about the same thing: where they’ll fit in. This video tells that story through both freshmen just starting out and a senior looking back. By putting those perspectives side by side, it shows how things change over time, and we see how, eventually, people find where they belong.

Process
I interviewed freshmen and a senior about their experiences and followed a student through a day on campus to capture real moments. I edited their responses together to show how perspectives change from the beginning of college to the end.
